Tea Bag Envelopes - Part 59

Again the same flower like pattern. Maybe it is a fragment? I have looked in Pinterest in my saved patterns, in my reference sketchbook. Nothing. I found Kos, another pattern I used in the last tea bag envelope post, but not this one. I have checked in my old book where I wrote patterns, but nothing. I seldom use new patterns lately without adding them in my reference sketchbook, that is better structured. (And I should start a new one soon, since this one is full). Boh. I will keep investigating, I often happen to see a pattern when I dive around patterns. I somehow remember I was looking for a pattern called white lily that I saw mentioned somewhere at that time. Maybe I could not find the pattern and I made one up myself?

About Shading

I have been struggling with shading. At the beginning of my tangle adventure, I simply skipped shading. Then I started doing it every now and then, when I felt inspired. Now I am following the Zentangle Primer 1 and I feel like I must do it. And then I reached chapter 4. Shading. My hope was that all secrets about shading would have been unveiled, but I felt like they weren't. Since I did not want to go to Chapter 5 without being a bit better at shading, and still had two tiles to fill a page of 6, I was checking the web. And Barbara Langston came up, with this video I indeed recommend it if you want to learn something about different ways of shading. Uaso - spreading wings and tails all around

I arrived just some hours ago at my CZT seminar in Munich, but I will talk about it in more detail in another post (or more) after digesting everything. So many people around, so many languages (one of my passions, as some of you could already know)... and a long long way to the hotel. Here you can find one of my go-to patterns when I have to fill space. Lately, at least. I came up with it at a dinner with friends, I surely told a bit about it with my last bookmark post. Uaso is actually a kind of transliteration of oiseau, bird in French.
