Coloring - Part 2

Among other Zentangle artists, they suggested me to check the tutorials from Zen Linea, to improve at coloring.

This is an easy tile, with a similar palette to Project 28. I did some tiles for it, but not all of them. Yet. it is good to do easy stuff for coloring. I have to build my taste. We know I tend to overcomplicate everything. Something simple is probably very much needed.

Belle, Tipple. 5 March 2026

Not so many colors here, but it was in the same playlist, and in the end I liked the idea of dewding patterns, I also did it with other leaves in some of my tea bag envelopes!

On the Ubahn on the way to the Ian Paice and Purpendicular concert I started tangling over one of the stains in my travel sketchbook. At home I added some colors, since I do not bring all pens on me all the time!
Is it also coloring? Somehow, even if I did not follow a tutorial, right?
In the end, if I learn to be subtle in colors, it could be a good thing. Remember? I have a childish taste!
It is funny, since the stain looks a bit like a chinese dragon. Right period, we are close to the beginning of the year,
Different lighting and with the chop, but it is difficult to spot!

Another tile I did without tutorial was also a map tangle. I actually did the stains with the water where I cleaned my glass pen, and also the water used to clean the brushes after painting the poppies on the black tile from the first chapter of the series. You almost do not see the white-purple stains.
Not a special tile, but still working on colors, somehow, right?

And another tutorial, this one from Emiko Kaneko, another CZT that they suggested me for the taste for colors!
My blue is brighter.
I used hairspray to fix the color and the white disappeared.
So I put the white again. We will see if it fades or not.
At least it has not faded in the morning. And pictures are nicer with daylight!
Mooka, Flux. 7 March 2026
Does it make sense to keep more versions of the same tile with different lighting? Does it disturb you? Let me know!

And another tutorial, this one from Yuko Takamasu. I like listening to Japanese tutorials, even if I get 30 or 40% of what they say.
More gems!
And also here, I decided to add the daylight version. You can see the corners, it is already in my folder... I hope they do not bother!
Ratoon, Sez, Crescent Moon, Pepper. 7 March 2026

And, just for fun, the first page of my big folder where I am putting tiles. I will have to write something, right?
I have ideas on how to store the tiles that I tangle on both sides. Stay tuned!
