Project Pack 2 - DIY and some lovely patterns

Down Memory Lane is the theme of the Project Pack. They use some of the products released till that moment.

I would have used something more romantic with the down memory lane theme. More related to the patterns than the products, but Zentangle has to sell in the end. ;)

I found some days very inspiring, like the Diva Dance one, and the Toodle one, and the split tiles one, and the Paradox as string and the Scena one. Mostly patterns fascinate me. The rest not that much.

Now more in detail.

Day 1 - introducing white tiles

Revisiting the patterns they use for the first tile and doing everything the other way round, Or almost. Old patterns with deep changes. Spiky Crescent moon, branchy Hollibaugh, Printemps with some orbs and done with pressing more while moving down the pen (Maria draws it, she was working in lettering, right?) and Florz mixed with Bales. I decided to mix it with Flux, as I had already seent them mixed in Primer 1 examples and wanted to do something else.

I very much like how Printemps was drawn. I managed to apply visibly more pressure on the pen while moving it towards me with a micron 08, not with thinner pens or with the Stabilo Sensor M. I have some other thicker pens, maybe I will also try with them.

Day 2 - introducing black tiles

First part Cutting a tile to have it to assmble with another one. I think at the moment that the scope here is to show that you can get very scenographic effects with simple things (like Flux and Tipples)

Day 3 - introducing zendala tiles

I did not know Rumpus, I like it but was not so happy with the first results

Day 4 - introducing Apprentice tiles (4.5x4.5 inches)

I have drawn once Divadance at the very beginning but did not get th jist of it. This video helped me a lot there! Now I am a diva dance enthusiast! :D

Day 5 - Black and white Zendala

I am bad bad bad at drawing Kissing Mookas. I will have to try and try again.

Day 6 - Introducing renaissance tiles

Toodles, toodles, toodles. They showed many ways to arrange them, and had to do all of them. Also added my different touches of colors. I have fineliners, charcoal pencils, felt tip pens and like to use them. :D

Day 7 - Prestringed Zendala

I copied a couple from the video, they came not so round. I don't think I am too much into all Zendalas, and it is not so easy to do all the strings myself on my sketchbook.

Day 8 - Some DIY with a bijou tile

I already saw this video but did not draw the crown at the time, probably only tangled Noom. This is probably one of the Project Pack videos that I like the least. And I watched it twice

Day 9 - Black and tan bijou, and some DIY

I loved the idea of having a tile divided in two and having it somehow mirrored. I got a bit carried away and will sure try again to do it, as it was big fun and I also love the results. I did it differently from the video, but I also love to be inspired without doing exactly the same thing.

Day 10 - Black apprentice tiles

Using paradox as a string. That looks so nice!

Day 11 - 2 or 3 3Z tiles.

I saw often Scena but thought it was not interesting, until I saw it here. I had to try and try this tangle, because I wanted to get some muscles in tangling it!

Day 12 - 3Z tiles

The Christmas tree with 3Z tiles and fragments. I think I am still not so sold to fragments. :D And to all sorts of DIY things where you glue together tiles. I would rather cut something out of another cardboard.
