As many tangle Patterns, also Agru is pretty simple.
It reminds an orange or a lemon in its standard form, but like the most of my patterns, its variations can make it pretty different.
Just starting with the deconstruction, for once.

Here one of my several training pages, where I put tangles more or less randomly to fill the page, but do not indeed look for a balance and a real design, I simply fill space with a lot of new and some old tangle patterns.

I tried to assemble them in a more organised fashion here. Then I wanted something that gave again the wave idea.

I played with it in the sketchbook I usually bring on me. I still found difficult to convey the idea of movement I wanted with Star-ING, but then I have some oranges in the back, and they are easy and round and stack well and add to each other in a group. I found some material. I have not found to this day a tangle like this. But maybe the pattern was indeed too simple and too representative, who knows.

If you wonder the reason of the green stain, the page on the right is one of my watercolour pages. I put the watercolour background on 20 June, I do not have pictures in my phone that tell me when I did the drawing.
I do not remember the name of the bigger flowers. Let's see if somebody here or in some groups can tell me that.
The name Agru comes from Agrume, simply, that is the Italian for citrus fruit. It did not take long to get the name. Some names go through a longer decision process, or I do some funny stuff to find the name.

In the end, I still loved to have Star-ING there, but recognized it would have been too stressful to stack several of them, and so, let it be Agru.
