Tea Bag Envelopes - Part 60

I decided to put new tea bag envelopes in a new tea box, so I will not feel too overwhelmed by the neverending queue. At least at some point I will finish this box and will tackle the next.

All Dent surfacing again.The leafy thing on top... does it deserve to become pattern material?

About the rice seed... I think I will call it Okome, like my line enhancer with the same shape. It seems the better thing to me.

About Shading

I have been struggling with shading. At the beginning of my tangle adventure, I simply skipped shading. Then I started doing it every now and then, when I felt inspired. Now I am following the Zentangle Primer 1 and I feel like I must do it. And then I reached chapter 4. Shading. My hope was that all secrets about shading would have been unveiled, but I felt like they weren't. Since I did not want to go to Chapter 5 without being a bit better at shading, and still had two tiles to fill a page of 6, I was checking the web. And Barbara Langston came up, with this video I indeed recommend it if you want to learn something about different ways of shading. Uaso - spreading wings and tails all around

I arrived just some hours ago at my CZT seminar in Munich, but I will talk about it in more detail in another post (or more) after digesting everything. So many people around, so many languages (one of my passions, as some of you could already know)... and a long long way to the hotel. Here you can find one of my go-to patterns when I have to fill space. Lately, at least. I came up with it at a dinner with friends, I surely told a bit about it with my last bookmark post. Uaso is actually a kind of transliteration of oiseau, bird in French.
