Reference Catalog - Part 9

Wow, a miracle just happened! I forgot to upload a random image before the first one from the blogger web page on my mobile phone, and all pics were uploaded! Usually they are not. Should I report to blogger? Who cares, I have Android 14 and my phone has been discontinued for new Android updates, I don't think reporting bugs is worth the effort here. I already had my share of problems for this reason at work to get a new completely working Windows machine. I should probably start working more with Linux. :D

More discussions... I am reasoning with ChatGPT on how to promote a bit this blog, since I think it could be interesting for quite some people into Zentangle. Apparently I get no traffic at all from Pinterest since I have not enough posts there (and I could improve the way I add the post there, but probably on Pinterest numbers work a lot better than quality/purpose). I could add a page on Facebook, people are possibly more prone to comment there. I already have a Zentangle group, but this is very much oriented to my tangle meetings in Berlin. Ah, I will have to think about it. I would love to talk about it in my Zentangle groups, but usually what I get there is a lot of shades of "blogs are dead" and this is a bit frustrating. I just looked for another group to post something. It is an open group, if the post gets approved I could get some random comments from people around. Who knows! I need human interaction!

Back to my reference catalog. I am getting the habit to tangle the right part of a page once or twice every day. If I go on like this, it will be done in 4 or 5 months. All my projects are huge projects!

Hokusai is a pretty interesting border, based on the idea of the wave by Hokusai. And Kaboom is an easy pattern, yet I love it so much! Simplicity is so lovely.

Hokusai, Ginili, Kaboom, Static, Sez.

The second version of BB is my own, I have not seen it by others. But this is how Zentangle works, right? We find our personal way to tangle! And Pots-n-Pans... I find it genius!

My Ltbetweed on the left is not so correct, the stones should be oriented on one way and then on the other, like in the example in the right. :D

And Tanbrella? Isn't it a bit magic? I did not fill it here, but it calls for nice fillings!
And about Yuma (fun fact, it means foreign person in Cuba, from YUMited states of America probably). I like a lot the patterns form Tina-Akua Hunziker. I should tangle them more often. But where do I find the time to tangle more often, if I already tangle that much?
Wud, Yuma, Tanbrella

I find it funny how I made Veruca come out of Laced. And also enjoyed making gridded puddles with Up and Across. This is so fun in Zentangle, doing something new with something old.
Laced, Up and Across, Veruca

I find interesting to have quite some empty space in this sketchbook, usually I am a filler, but here with the limitation of the given patterns I feel less like filling every space. It is a way to see space differently.
