I wonder if you remember the post with the preview of these patterns. I did not finish them, because I wanted to post it straight away, as I did the patterns as inspiration for somebody else. They probably did not work as inspiration but... in Italian we say that not all donuts come with the hole.

So, here the first whole page! Chot, a tangleation of Ciottoli or Tipple, playing on volumes, more layers, colored intersections... every technique is welcome to change the texture!

Second pattern, Sibabol. Bubbles can be O shaped, C shaped, leave blank, be thicker, overlap... The main concept in all patterns here is overlapping. Drawing above instead of drawing under in Hollibaugh fashion.

I usually draw flowers, stars, petals, sometimes curly ribbons. And then while training for Ambacco another of my favourite patterns came out. Borgoid. About Shading

I have been struggling with shading. At the beginning of my tangle adventure, I simply skipped shading. Then I started doing it every now and then, when I felt inspired. Now I am following the Zentangle Primer 1 and I feel like I must do it. And then I reached chapter 4. Shading. My hope was that all secrets about shading would have been unveiled, but I felt like they weren't. Since I did not want to go to Chapter 5 without being a bit better at shading, and still had two tiles to fill a page of 6, I was checking the web. And Barbara Langston came up, with this video I indeed recommend it if you want to learn something about different ways of shading. Uaso - spreading wings and tails all around

I arrived just some hours ago at my CZT seminar in Munich, but I will talk about it in more detail in another post (or more) after digesting everything. So many people around, so many languages (one of my passions, as some of you could already know)... and a long long way to the hotel. Here you can find one of my go-to patterns when I have to fill space. Lately, at least. I came up with it at a dinner with friends, I surely told a bit about it with my last bookmark post.
