Coloring - Part 6

And today again some tiles to fill spaces in my album, at least at the beginning.

This has actually the size of a phive tile, but without prestrings!
I drew over the stains with red ink. I did the stains with the washing of some india ink and by rubbing together this tile with some that had some excess colors. That is why there are several different hues. I added some shading and highlights with graphite and white charcoal pencils.

Here a instagram contact reminded me of Chinar, and had to do a monotangle!

And now, some more small tiles.

I draw Toodles pretty often on bijou size tiles.

Not so convinced about the fillings, but it's ok. :D

Here I started with Crescent Moon and drew light paradox lines over. There could be some breaks in paradox, since the lighting was not perfect. But this is part of the magic... I don't like it always superperfect, to be honest!

There would be space for another bijou tile in the page, by hiding some parts behind other tiles but... hmm... I will see.

Posting the current full or almost full pages anyway!

Can you see the virtual space for a bijou tiles below the 3z?

This tile is not really colored, if we do not consider white a color, yet I liked it with white only. Maybe I will do something similar and add colors after the white. For me it is easier to add the colors before. If I have to do it after... I already like the result with the simple lines, without extra shading or coloring.
Maybe I should check more often the tiles at arm distance!

    1. Danke normal für den chinar "reminder". :)
Nicht alle Teile sind perfekt, aber jetzt will ich auch ein bisschen neue Sachen versuchen. Ich freue mich, dass die Farbetheorie habe ich schon irgendwie verstanden, am wichtigen waren mir "Split complementaries".

    1. It's kind of special, I had the tile around for a while and did not like it, and then made something interesting out of it. Possibly these tiles that in the beginning had strange colors or something weird are the ones that come out the better. This is the magic of Zentangle, I think. Or maybe of art in general! :D
