A few days ago I completed the CZT EU 9 seminar.
I loved being around a lot of people that love to tangle. I showed my sketchbooks around and received a lot of positive feedback.
I have been told that I could maybe find more tanglers from Berlin in some of the German Zoom tangle meetings there are around. There is only one I was suggested so far, Tangle-Treff by Henrike Bratz. It looks like a normal class, more than a meeting. I wonder if there are also meetings that look less like a class, where people can do different things and inspire each other.
I also have been told that blogs are dead, and nobody ever comments. It is ok, it is my virtual diary, I put the most of what I tangle here, and I like to have everything here for reference. I will have to live with the fact that people seldom comment. :) I should learn to use better instagram, but I also do not want to identify my persona with Zentangle and Zentangle only. Even if I tangle all the time!
Here are the tiles from the first two days. Possibly the first Tiepolo tiles I post here. :D
Every course starts with the beginner Z tile, probably!![]() |

And the second tile always has Jetties! I do not like my last Flux and orb in the bottom right, but it's ok. Not everything comes out as we want! We have to accept it in tangling and in life.

Not so convinced of this tile either. Maybe because it is the first time I tangle Cogwheel? I am also not the best at tangling Pokeleaf. Probably I will have to do another tile following the same ideas.

The mosaic with this tile was very interesting, I also did a big snake!

A bijou tile to train the famous mistake fixer Bronx Cheer. I actually like to embrace mistakes also in other ways. But I have learnt to draw Bronx Cheer a bit better, also with half circles outside.

Here we tried different Tanglenhancers in every section of the back of the Phive tile.

Here I tangled my initials. I was not so convinced of the M even if I liked it in the end. So I rushed in the N as well.

DeleteSehr schöne Tiles, mir gefallen alle sehr gut!
