And after many tea bag envelopes, it's on hold for one day now. I wanted to stay in par with my home sketchbook and add a post when I reached around 20 patterns here. So I can better talk about the drawings if they are recent.
Nothing has shading, I did not feel like shading, maybe I will add some colors, if I do I will add another post with the reworked pages.
I found the flower pattern probably while surfing in Musterquelle. I first drew it in a tea bag envelope, but it staid with me and I had to draw it in my sketchbook. All rest was drawn with the idea to fit there. I also needed a couple of days probably to find what to draw on the lower part to keep the balance.

Here I started with a pattern of mine that came out after thinking about chain patterns for an acquaintance that needed it for a caviardage piece. Caviardage is an Italian interpretation of blackout poetry. I like the idea of blackout poetry, I also already ordered and received a Humument, since I wanted to start with one of the best references! But you could have better ones, feel free to share!
Back to the chain story. I found very soon a chain pattern, Chainmaille, but the idea resonated with me and I have drawn straight away a variation of chainmaille that could promote to a pattern of its own, this Noom variation, and yesterday I had another chain variation coming out of my pen out of the blue without expecting it. There will be probably more chains coming up. But as you know I want to publish only one new pattern a day and I cannot do 20 deconstruction pages at once if I want to draw also some tiles with them to display how they can be used, so... it will take time.
For the other patterns, I started using massively Pinterest. When I find something I like, I go for it. I am also doing many boards. With pattern step outs, for friends with patterns I think they could like, with nice patterns whose name I must find, for fragments, and so on. If you want me to make a board for you, tell me a couple of ideas of what you would like to see there, and I will add something there while I hunt for patterns!
