Inktober 2025 - till the dreadful Day 8

Inktober seems to be famous in all artistic fields to produce something every day, and for Zentangle this means having a list of patterns to draw every day.

Myself I have several projects, but the biggest one is adding my new patterns, training them to add more tiles, and being overwhelmed by more new patterns that come out of my pen. New patterns come out especially when I train other patterns of mine, but sometimes also inspired by another pattern, where I see big variations, like Punk that inspired Suan and Suam (they have no deconstruction page yet, but there's a couple of tea bag envelopes with them, if you click on their names on the labels you should be able to find them.

What I like more about inktober are the compositions with all patterns, so I planned several pages for it on my "serious" sketchbook that I used for the Primer and Project Packs.

Why I started Inktober? Well, I met online with a fellow wannabe CZT and some of her Italian fellow tanglers on October 1st and then we tangled the first 3 patterns that night. If it wouldn't have been for that zoom meeting probably I would have not started it. But it's always cool to do stuff together.

We did not manage to meet again, and I managed to add very few patterns, since it's more than a week that I am stuck at day 8 I decided to do a post anyway, instead of doing one around half way. At least I will have an Inktober post in October.

Maybe I stopped at Cochombrós because it inspired me some 4 or 5 patterns, it means more work! :D And I was not ready for other 4 or 5 more! The patterns are flowers or stars, but it's a rounded version of Cachombrós that you can also find in one of the compositions.

The list on a separate paper, so I can always check it.

You can find the patterns ordered one after the other. Some go out of the border. :)

Ribbon version for every pattern

The idea was to have some areas as inspiration to follow, 20 small areas and ribbons or grids in-between. Here you can see the rounded Cochombrós!

And a free page, with no guidelines.

Here two watercolor A5 sheets taped together. I like these metallic watercolors!

Will I shade everything at a point? Will I ever go past day 8?
Stay Tuned!
