Fugaz - an ephemeral paradox shooting star

This pattern needs space. Lots of it. A 9x9 tile or a tea bag envelope are not enough.

This is where Fugaz has been born, on an A5 sketchbook, outside a bar, in front of a caipirinha, or a beer... I had both that evening, but cannot recall in which order and what I was drawing at the moment. :D
It is the star pattern on the left, where the star is done with cadent borders and the single points of the stars are then paradoxed.

At the birthday party of a friend I was making corner bookmarks for the people there. I mean, I did not make many, just a couple.

A kid was deciding from my sketchbook the Paradox pattern above.

The bookmark came out orrible, because I did not remember how to do it.

If it is not so straight away and it looks so nice it means that it deserves to be deconstructed!

The pattern, as said above, does not fit so well in a small size, but at least there are the step-outs.

Why did I call it fugaz? It comes from Estrella fugaz, shooting star. It is not indeed a shooting star, but it has the same ethereal figure, if drawn properly.

And last but not least, some tea bag envelopes. Alas, the magic of the first time I tangled it is difficult to reproduce. It was indeed fugaz. Ephemeral.
