Ambacco, the fix that failed to hide

Time for another line enhancer. We have theoretically many to go, but probably they are not the funniest part to draw, even if we can use them all the time, and they often already are integrating part of many existing patterns.

Ambacco is a fictional name invented by my brother as a kid when he entered to a shop and asked for ambacco instead than battitacco (a kind of texture thick border to put at the end of trousers, I assume. I never tried to fix trousers and surely not with something of that kind).

And this pattern reminds me like some stitches hiding. That you could need to shorten some trousers.

About Shading

I have been struggling with shading. At the beginning of my tangle adventure, I simply skipped shading. Then I started doing it every now and then, when I felt inspired. Now I am following the Zentangle Primer 1 and I feel like I must do it. And then I reached chapter 4. Shading. My hope was that all secrets about shading would have been unveiled, but I felt like they weren't. Since I did not want to go to Chapter 5 without being a bit better at shading, and still had two tiles to fill a page of 6, I was checking the web. Uaso - spreading wings and tails all around

I arrived just some hours ago at my CZT seminar in Munich, but I will talk about it in more detail in another post (or more) after digesting everything. So many people around, so many languages (one of my passions, as some of you could already know)... and a long long way to the hotel. Here you can find one of my go-to patterns when I have to fill space. Lately, at least. I came up with it at a dinner with friends, I surely told a bit about it with my last bookmark post.
