Somebody somewhere in a Facebook group told they liked the leafy border. And possibly they used it to ornate a guest book from a b&b on a rainy day.

As for this one, I started from the diagonal ribbon and added some patterns.
I don't remember if I took any of the patterns from the last posts on Susanne's blog. Surely I did it for the next drawing, that I will post in the near future.

    Sehr schönen Seiten. Ich mag die Blätterbordüre sehr. Ich finde auch die erste Seite mit den kleinen Pilzen niedlich. Sie erinnern mich an ein Mikroorganismus welches ich im Mikroskop gesehen habe. Und du hast dich auch an "Infinity" gewagt :)

About Shading

I have been struggling with shading. At the beginning of my tangle adventure, I simply skipped shading. Then I started doing it every now and then, when I felt inspired. Now I am following the Zentangle Primer 1 and I feel like I must do it. And then I reached chapter 4. Shading. My hope was that all secrets about shading would have been unveiled, but I felt like they weren't. Since I did not want to go to Chapter 5 without being a bit better at shading, and still had two tiles to fill a page of 6, I was checking the web. And Barbara Langston came up, with this video I indeed recommend it if you want to learn something about different ways of shading. Uaso - spreading wings and tails all around

I arrived just some hours ago at my CZT seminar in Munich, but I will talk about it in more detail in another post (or more) after digesting everything. So many people around, so many languages (one of my passions, as some of you could already know)... and a long long way to the hotel. Here you can find one of my go-to patterns when I have to fill space. Lately, at least. I came up with it at a dinner with friends, I surely told a bit about it with my last bookmark post. Uaso is actually a kind of transliteration of oiseau, bird in French.
