Walena, the cake under the icing

In Italy we have a saying "Fatto trenta, facciamo trentuno".

It is like, if you do 30 times whatever, doing it 31 times won't increase that much the effort (in the big scale of things).

And so here we are with the 31st post, with another pattern of mine.

It has been born while drawing a tile for Felice. Do you see the upper left corner of the tile under the step-out? Some rocks upside down. This is the first occurrence

I was on purpose avoiding to put in the deconstruction page new patterns of mine. I try to do these deconstruction pages with "Linda's Code", that means, only patterns that you can find on TanglePatterns, to be able to submit them. But I was also looking for new things to add in the mixed variation tile, and that came out.

I needed to do my brain storming page soon after.

I got wedding cakes, rocks, pyramids, snowmen, and weird structures of every kind while looking for variations. I also got some tentacles, but this seems like material for another pattern. I still have to work it out correctly.

But when I started drawing my beloved tea bag envelopes I started automatically stacking over the stacks.

And so came another brainstorming part. I think it was drawn more or less in parallel with the following tea bag envelopes. I do not put time stamps on every of my movement, sorry! Should I?

I was thinking about the name. Some of the stacks look like a whale, and in Italian it's balena, so I mixed the two words. I was also thinking at something related to boats, as one of the variations also look like a boat. I did not consider cake names, I don't know why.

I find crazy, how many variations this pattern can have. Or maybe it's me, that I always look for variations?
