If you by any chance have been reading all my posts know that I am pretty keen on flowers. Or at least I have been drawing flowers all the time. Lately a little less, since I am trying to follow also original material from Zentangle HQ. I just finished the primer and I am starting to check the first project pack. It means, only original patterns, and very few flowers. Aquafleur, possibly. I don't know the others since... cough cough... I have never laser focused before on the original patterns.
The brain storming page is a bit messy and there is no further variation as here in the deconstruction.
Around here I was following some videos of underwater creatures in Zentangle. The series is Coastal Calm by Kelly Blouin and you can see the first two in the next pages.
Here there is one of my many bookmarks on recycled cardboard.
And here, a work in progress page. I have actually put watercolor on some of the pages of the sketchbook I always have on me. When I have some time I add something in a page. Because of the randomness of the color forms, I take the page that inspires me in that moment, where I want to do a specifica pattern.
I was almost forgetting the tea bag envelopes! Let me skim through them! I am sure there is at least one!
My Patterns
Wait wait, among the newest original patterns there is Aiposaat, that is all but a flower. Yet, I made a bunch of flowers out of it.
And this is how Aipocaat has been born. In the very same page where I first tried Aiposaat. Isn't this crazy? In this page two tangles have been born, also Felice saw the light for the first time here! They're twins!
I always try to make straight lines round. And, being honest, Aipocaat looks so different from Aiposaat that I think it deserves its own deconstruction and name. All Is Possible One Curve At A Time. Curve instead of stroke, since it's all curves!
